Tiger Drama offers courses in performance, technical theatre and musical theatre at Lewis & Clark High School.
From beginning acting skills to advanced study, students can explore their interests, build skills and collaborate.

This class builds confidence as students learn and develop acting skills and gain a general knowledge of theatre and public speaking. It is a group activity class in which all students take an active part and perform in front of the class periodically.
Participation: This class has no extracurricular requirements.
Grades: 9–12
Experience: Intended for students with prior performance experience.

Designed for students with previous performance experience, this class takes a deeper look at acting skills and techniques. Special emphasis is directed toward scene study, script analysis and performances. It is a group activity class in which all students take an active part and perform in class on a regular basis.
Participation: This class has no extracurricular requirements.

Participants explore and create technical theatre elements for Tiger Drama productions, including lighting, sound, makeup, scenic design and construction, costumes, publicity, and stage management. Students also explore the elements of design and research by creating their own design projects.
Participation: Outside class work on a crew for Tiger Drama productions and concerts is a class requirement.

This course offers advanced theatre students additional experience in dramatic arts through acting and an exploration of theatre within a historical and cultural context. It provides an opportunity to develop competence in problem-solving, communication skills, self-confidence, and self-discipline, contributing to lifelong learning and career skills.
Class work includes instruction in movement, dance, acting, vocal performance, and auditioning. Students also learn the history of 20th-century theatre and current trends on Broadway.
Participation: Students participate in Tiger Drama's Opening and Closing Night Showcase productions. This class requires minimal after-school and evening commitments for rehearsals and performances.

This course is designed for students with basic abilities in acting, singing, and dancing in musical theatre performances, or students seeking to improve one or more of these skills. It further enhances and utilizes those skills through intensive and specialized class work.
Class work includes instruction in dance, acting, vocal performance, and auditioning, with a focus on enhancing performance skills and preparing for a collegiate theatre program.
Participation: The class typically produces a show from class rehearsals and participates in Tiger Drama's Opening and Closing Night Showcase productions. This class requires some after-school and evening commitments for rehearsals and performances.
